My Certifications

National Council for Certified Personal Trainers- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

Thanks to my ISSA training, I am a NCCPT-CPT. The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) is a health and fitness agency that has been operating for over 25 years. Like NASM, ACE, and ACSM, NCCPT's  Personal Trainer (CPT) certification is a NCCA accredited and IDEA approved program. NCAA is the institute responsible for the accreditation of certification programs for personal trainers and other fitness professionals. IDEA Health and Fitness Association has been a guiding force in the fitness industry for 39 years in over 80 countries; IDEA aims to develop the most relevant continuing education and business tools to advance the careers of all fitness professionals in the world.

In addition to these two CPT certifications, I have completed the ISSA Certified Group Exercise Instructor course, one of the most well-rounded programs available. This certification prepared me to teach up to 12 formats of group exercise including: Bootcamp, Indoor Cycling, Kettlebells, and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

The ISSA Elite Trainer credential is awarded to accomplished ISSA Certified Trainers who have proven their competence in personal training and developed expertise in two additional areas of specialization. With scientific backing and practical application in the areas clients need help with the most, this credential proves that extensive education equals results.

ISSA Certified Elite Trainer

Certified Yoga Teacher/ Registered Yoga Teacher (CYT-200 hour)/(RYT-200 hour)

I have successfully completed a 200-hour Wellness, SEL and Yoga Teacher Training, earning the Breathe For Change 200-hour Digital Wellness, SEL and Yoga Teacher Certification, which qualifies me to teach yoga and facilitate social-emotional learning practices for both adults and young people in a safe and inclusive way.  I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (www.yogaalliance.org).

It's no secret - fitness training has been proven to prevent disease, strengthen your health and improve your confidence and outlook on life. As an ISSA student working toward my certification to be a trainer, I'm learning about everything from muscle mechanics to flexibility and cardiovascular dynamics. So if you want to live a stronger and more confident life, I will soon have the training and the expertise to help you every step of the way.
